Why Most Health Advice Fails Smart People
March 09, 2026
Let’s talk about something that don’t get said enough.
A lot of health advice misses something important. It assumes that once people learn what to do, they’ll automatically start doing it.
And it don’t. Think about it.
You probably already know the basics:
Drink more water.
Eat more vegetables.
Move your body.
Get more sleep.
Reduce sugar.
None of that is new information.
So if knowledge was the real problem… we would already be healthy, right?
Essentially, most programs miss this:
Your brain is wired for reward, comfort, and familiarity — not long-term health.
The brain doesn’t choose what’s best. It chooses what feels good, fast, and predictable.
That’s why someone can be incredibly smart…
read every nutrition book…
watch every documentary…
…and still find themselves in the kitchen at 10:30pm negotiating with a bag of chips.
It’s not a knowledge problem. It’s a behavior loop problem.
Your brain runs patterns:
Cue → Craving → Action → Reward.
...and once that loop gets wired in, your brain will protect it like it’s a survival strategy, which is why my work don’t start with the plate. It starts with the brain.
Before you can sustainably change what you eat, you have to understand:
• how habits form
• how dopamine drives behavior
• how emotional regulation affects cravings
• how environment silently shapes your decisions
Once you see the pattern…you can finally change the pattern.
And that’s exactly what we break down during our sessions together.
Tonight during Members Only Monday, we’re talking about how to move from knowing what to do… to actually doing it consistently.
Bring your notebook, because the goal ain’t more information. The goal is implementation.
If DIE-iting has not worked, and you feel like you've tried everything else but not re-wiring your mind, what do you have to lose?
See you tonight inside my our private community!
