Going from Good Intention to Action
February 09, 2026
Why knowing ain’t the problem — and what actually gets results
If you're feeling stuck or slow-mo...it's not your fault.
And no, you don't need more discipline, willpower, or shame. Release that guilt right now!
More than likely, you're feeling this way because good intentions don’t automatically turn into action.
We intend to:
--eat better
--slow down
--be more consistent
--finally “get back on track”
And then life shows up?
You know....
The Emails. The Stress. The Family. Then the Fatigue....
Suddenly the intention never makes it past our head.
I need to you read then, this say it outloud (even if you're around others). Lol
👉🏿 Information don’t change behavior. Implementation does.
Reading. Watching. Saving posts.
That’s consumption.
Change happens when:
--you pause long enough to apply
--you repeat small actions
--you practice before you feel ready
That’s why so many people are well-informed and still stuck.
So, stop thinking that you or anyone else is lazy.
You’ve just been trained (conditined) to consume instead of do.
This Week’s Shift
Instead of asking:
“What should I learn next?”
Try asking:
“What’s one thing I can practice today?”
One pause.
One check-in.
One intentional choice.
Momentum comes from movement — not motivation.
What’s Coming Sunday
Next Sunday evening, I'm not hosting just another LIVE. I’m hosting a guided implementation session focused on:
👉🏿 Less consumption. More DOing.
We’re not reading.
We’re not talking about change.
We’re walking through the Playbook together, step-by-step, so you can start the week with clarity and momentum.
Think of it as Week 1, Day 0 — the bridge between intention and action.
Where can you join us?
You’re welcome to join us via YouTube @dr.denise.THINKS, however the interactive tools will be accessible only inside Skool, where I’ll be sharing my screen for deeper, hands-on learning. https://www.skool.com/fed-up-break-bad-habit-plan-1517/about
The Transparency of It All
I previously offered Skool for free for six months. It’s no longer fully free — but there is a 7-day free trial, which gives you access to Week One of the program so you can experience the process for yourself.
If you choose to continue beyond that, it’s $5 to access the next week, where we move into the following phase of the work.
I hope that it's obvious...charing $5....ain’t about the money for me.
I’ve learned that when people pay, they pay attention.
They show up. They apply. They move from intention to action.
And that’s the goal.
Snack on THIS
Good intentions are a starting point.
But systems, support, and practice are what make change stick.
This week, don’t aim for perfect.
Aim for practiced.
See you Sunday at 6:00 PM CST 💚
